This blog itself is based in Jaws theme, but I’ve changed it to test the translucent background…

This is the theme from I’ve learned how to use the translucent effect on blogs. You can download the theme direct from the author’s blog - http://geeksmakemehot.com/

The best is that it seems to work in any blog…
Most of blog template designers make their templates adjusted to the fixed 800x600 monitor resolution. But nowadays more and more internet users and webloggers are getting bigger (19′’ and 21′’) monitors using greater resolutions. My blog statistics shows that the monitor resolution share is 19.05% in 1280x1024, 57.14% in 1024x768, 19,05% in 800x600 and 4.76% in other monitor resolution.
So, why they let the annoying background color or image get the 20% to 45% on the most readers’ monitor, without any information?
Trying to solve this waste of "space" I’ve been searching and designing some templates which uses 98% of monitor area, whatever the reader resolution is.
The first template I post is from this blog itself. It is a modified version of Jaws template.
Download it here from the themesBase.com.
